The Mini Sounder, housed in a watertight die-cast aluminum enclosure, has one frequency agile channel within the range of 24-210kHz. The system requires a direct USB connection to the user's computer. The affordability combined with big system performance of the Mini Sounder make it a great choice for new hydrographic surveyors on limited budgets and/or growing a business.

Although the Mini Sounder runs only one frequency at a time, the Sounder Suite Display and Processing Software allows up to four Mini Sounders to be run simultaneously in the same application software. This real time multi-task feature provides users the ability to run two standard hydrographic frequencies with two KNUDSEN sidescan transducers which monitor for any anomalies along the survey line.

Knudsen 3212: Overside Pinger Chirp Echosounder SBP

Pinger is designed specifically for shallow water sub bottom profiling (as shallow as 4m and up to 300m in ideal conditions) and is intended for a simple over the side pole mount installation. The Pinger Wet End includes two separate interchangeable projectors - a low frequency 3.5 kHz projector for hard packed sand bottom and a 15 kHz projector for soft mud sediment sonar profiling - plus a broadband hydrophone receive array. A 200 kHz transducer is also included which provides a reference point as to where the bottom begins. This allows a wide variety of practical applications, including geophysical sediment research, harbour shoreline construction, and hazardous pond pollution monitoring.

Innomar Standard: Parametric Sub Bottom Profiler

From the wide range of Innomar parametric sub-bottom profilers the Innomar "standard" model is the most versatile one: it is small enough to be used on small boats for inshore surveys but also powerful enough to be applicable for offshore surveys down to 500 meters water depth. The high ping rate, small footprint and the possibility of transmitting sound pulses over a wide frequency range ensure sub-seafloor data with excellent resolution and very good sediment penetration. Electronic beam stabilization will give good results under bad weather conditions, too.

A user-friendly data acquisition and system control software (SESWIN) provides the possibility for network remote operation as well as remote data visualization.

The Innomar "standard" model acquires full-waveform data that can be processed with any seismic software (SEG-Y format). Innomar also provides the ISE post-processing software specialized on the Innomar SBP data.

Innomar Compact: Parametric Sub Bottom Profiler

The Innomar "compact" model was designed for inshore surveys in shallow-water down to 400 metres water depth, but can also be used in coastal areas. Because of its small size and weight this system is convenient even on small boats. Controlled via Ethernet using any Windows based PC or laptop it is a user friendly and affordable design, too.

The Innomar "compact" model acquires full-waveform data that can be processed with any seismic software (SEG-Y format). Innomar also provides the ISE post-processing software specialized on the Innomar SBP data.

This model has been first launched as "SES-2000 compact" in 2002, the latest generation has been introduced in 2021.
